"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) Faith is the conviction based on past experience that God’s new and fresh surprises will surely be ours. Two words describe faith: sure and certain. These two qualities need a secure beginning and ending point. The beginning point of faith is believing in God’s character—he is who he says. The end point is believing in God’s promises—he will do what he says. When we believe that God will fulfill his promises even though we don’t see those promises materializing yet, we demonstrate true faith. "Jesus said, 'Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.'" (John 20:29) *Life Application Bible ©1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 by Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., Wheaton, IL 60189.
Behold...
... you wake up someday and a significant portion of the population is missing and there is havoc in the streets? Cars, trucks, busses, planes, all crashing because no one is driving or piloting them. Where has everyone gone? Maybe even some of your own family and friends are missing. Vanished, gone without a trace; clothes and jewelery left like it just fell off their bodies. Oh, the media and the government will try to explain it away as some kind of alien abduction or some secret soviet plan or some such nonsense. But a few of you will know better. The few of you that have been on the fence, so to speak, about believing. Maybe your spouse or brother or neighbor, someone has told you about this day coming. And you thought they were nuts! "What a fairy tale!", you thought. Now you see it with your own eyes... it has actually happened. The Rapture. The day when Jesus comes back to take all his children to Heaven with Him. What happens when the new saviour comes into being and takes charge? Oh, he'll seem like a saviour... there will be peace in Israel, all over the world for that matter. There will be food for all, no more hunger. Then will come the newest innovation in the cashless society... everyone will have their own chip implant or mark or something that will be mandatory by the state. This will be a necessary "evil" so that you may purchase items like food and water. Without it you don't survive. But whatever you do, do not take the mark! It is the mark of the beast... Satan; the anti-christ. If you take that mark, you are condemned to spend eternity in hell. Trust me, you don't wanna go there. Then they start rounding up people that don't cooperate and jailing them! "Wait a minute!" you think, "I remember hearing some fairytale like this from_______.", fill in the blank. Then you realize that all those stories you heard were true! "Oh no! How could I have been so stupid?", you ask yourself. So what do you do now? Where do you go? Who will you turn to? I can tell you this... there will be others just like yourself that won't make the rapture. People that were sittin on the fence. Now that you've seen it happen with your own eyes, are you still on that fence? You will need to seek out others that, like yourself, are fully aware of what has happened. Remember, there is strength in numbers. You must seek God's forgivness, and avoid the beast at all costs. Better to die a martyr for Christ than to succumb to the anti-christ and spend eternity in a burning lake of fire! Hell is real people! Satan is real! Or... you could avoid all that and make a simple decision right now to follow Christ today. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Salvation can be yours. It is a free gift from Father God Almighty. It only takes a minute; and an open, genuine heart. Your eternity depends on it!
Are You Ready?
Pray something like this...
Lord Jesus, If you just prayed this prayer with your heart and confessed it with your mouth, you've done what the Bible says and you have been redeemed. You're saved. You've been adopted into the family of God and you can be confident that you will live eternally with God. Starting from this very moment, you have changed. You may not feel anything, but that doesn't change the fact that God has accepted you because you've accepted His Son. Salvation is not a matter of feeling; it's a matter of faith. Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." If you've made the decision to serve Christ, now you can be assured that no matter what you've done in your life your sin has been completely washed away. You've got a clean slate now. Ephesians 2:8-9 puts it this way, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." That scripture proves that your salvation doesn't depend on your strength or ability. It depends on the grace of God and your faith in Jesus' work! And His blood is more than able to take care of your salvation! Never doubt the gift God has given to you. If you've made this commitment to God today, please e-mail us and let us know about your decision to change your life, and your eternity. We care about you and know that God has great plans ahead for you. He is able to change you from the inside out, and turn circumstances around for good. So keep talking to Him. Thank you for letting us share salvation with you, and welcome to the family of God!
